Montreal Returns Marc Denis To Hamilton

MONTREAL, QC - Montreal Canadiens General Manager Bob Gainey announced today that goaltender Marc Denis has been reassigned to the Hamilton Bulldogs from the Canadiens.

Denis, 31, was recalled by Montreal on December 12th but did not play in any games for the Canadiens. He has played in 19 games for the Bulldogs this season. The Colorado Avalanche 1st round, 25th overall selection in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft has a record of 12-6-0, including two shutouts, while posting a 2.60 GAA and a .915 save percentage. The native of Montreal, Quebec was named the Reebok/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending November 2, 2008, after recording three wins in as many starts and stopping 96 of the 99 shots he faced

The Bulldogs battle the Wolf Pack in Hartford tonight in their final game before Christmas.
