The IronBirds fell, 5-2 in 13 innings on Monday to the Vermont Lake Monsters. The IronBirds came back from two runs down in the seventh, but three runs in the 13th, ruined the evening in Aberdeen.

Trailing

The Lake Monsters got on the board first in the fourth inning, when Skye Bolt singled to left to drive in Brett Siddall. It would be the first of three hits for Bolt on the evening,

Vermont extended their lead in the seventh when Bolt tripled to right and scored on a double by Tom Gavitt one hitter later.

Seventh Heaven

The IronBirds scored twice in the bottom of the seventh to tie things up. Drew Turbin singled home two runs with a base hit to left scoring Steve Laurino and Chris Shaw. Turbin's hit was the only hit in the inning for the 'Birds.

Tough Night

Vermont would score three times in the 13th and run away with a 5-2 win. Trace Loehr, Seth Brown, and Brett Siddall all collected RBI hits in the frame.

Bird Watching

Ricardo Andujar collected two hits, both infield hits... The IronBirds recorded just one hit in the final five innings on Monday night... Kory Graves made his IronBirds debut allowing a run on two hits over 2.2 innings, striking out four.
