Tigers Welcome in Brooklyn Cyclones for Final Home Stand of the Season

NORWICH, CT- The Connecticut Tigers the short season Single-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers have an exciting final regular season home stand planned for Wednesday, September 2nd through Friday, September 4th.
On Wednesday the Tigers are set to host the Brooklyn Cyclones, affiliate of the New York Mets, at 6:05 p.m. The September 2nd matchup will be a doubleheader as the teams make up a rain out from June 27th in Brooklyn. Wednesday night will feature two seven-inning games and will be single admission.
Connecticut will be the visiting team for the first game and after a 30 minute break game two will begin. Following the game it will be Kids Run the Bases presented by Ben and Jerry's.
Thursday will be the final Thirsty Thursday of the season. Gates open at 5 pm for a special pre-game Happy Hour at The Hole in the Wall Bar on the first base concourse featuring live music and drink specials. Select domestic drafts are just $2 all night!
The regular season finale will be played on Friday, September 4th beginning at 7:05 p.m. and you don't want to miss the 1st Country Music Night at Dodd Stadium presented by 97.7 WCTY. Plenty of live music and of course the final postgame firework show of the season presented by US Foods & Pyrotecnico. It's also Fan Appreciation Night and the first 500 fans receive a 2015 Tigers team photo courtesy of CHET!
Gates open one hour before each game so get to the stadium and enjoy a fun filled weekend at the ballpark!
The Connecticut Tigers are the New York-Penn League affiliate of the Detroit Tigers and play a 76 game schedule that runs from mid June through early September. 2015 season tickets, group tickets, mini plans, individual game tickets, and team merchandise are now on sale! The front office and ticket office is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and can be accessed in person or by calling 860-887-7962.
