Manchester dropped game one of the division final to Worcester, 4-3, on Sunday afternoon. The four goals the Monarchs allowed the Sharks in that one game is one shy of the total number of goals they allowed the Pirates in the entire series.

Left wing Bud Holloway (4-1=5) leads the Monarchs in goals scored in the playoffs with four tallies, all of which were game-winners.

Holloway is the only player in the AHL with four game-winning goals in the playoffs.

Holloway's four tallies are tied for fourth place in the AHL.

Holloway's overtime game-winner last Monday against the Pirates was the fastest overtime goal scored by the Monarchs in the playoffs. His goal at the two-minute mark beat the previous record of 1:46 into double overtime when left wing Jeff Giuliano scored the game-winner in the Monarchs 6-5 victory over the Hartford Wolf Pack on April 21, 2006.

Holloway and center Justin Azevedo (0-5=5) lead the Monarchs with five points each.

Holloway's four goals and one assist, and Azevedo's five assists put them each on five-game scoring streaks.

Defensemen Andrew Campbell (1-3=4) and Jacob Muzzin (0-1=1) join defenseman Mark Ardelan, center Marty Murray and center Patrick O'Sullivan among Monarchs players who have registered a plus/minus of plus-3 in a single game. Campbell and Muzzin picked up plus-3 ratings in the Monarchs 3-1 win over the Pirates on Saturday, April 17.

Campbell is tied with right wing Trevor Lewis (3-1=4), center Corey Elkins (1-3=4), left wing Dwight King (1-3=4) and center Andrei Loktionov (0-4=4) for third on the Monarchs roster with four points each.

King has four points (1-3=4) in his last three games.

The Monarchs have scored a goal within the first 35 seconds of the game in each of their last three games. Center Marc-Andre Cliche scored 35 seconds into Monday's 2-1 win over Portland; Lewis scored 31 seconds into Tuesday's 7-2 win over Portland and center Oscar Moller (2-1=3) scored 35 seconds into Sunday's 4-3 loss to Worcester. The fastest opening goal in the Monarchs playoff history came when right wing Tim Jackman scored 28 seconds into the Monarchs 4-3 victory over the Providence Bruins on May 12, 2007.

Defenseman Joe Piskula (1-2=3) leads the Monarchs in plus/minus and is tied for first place in the AHL with a plus-7 rating through the first five games of the playoffs.

Only one player on the Monarchs roster has a minus rating, defenseman Viatcheslav Voynov is minus-1 in the two games that he has played this playoff season.

Goaltender Jonathan Bernier is 4-1 between the pipes this post-season. His 1.80 goals-against-average ranks second in the AHL and his .943 save percentage is also ranked second. He's stopped 148-of-157 shots through 301 minutes of play.
