Canadiens Recall P.K. Subban From Bulldogs

MONTREAL, QC - The Montreal Canadiens announced today that defenceman P.K. Subban has been recalled to the Canadiens from the Bulldogs.
Subban, 20, played in two games with Montreal earlier this season recording two assists. The 6-foot, 206-pound defenceman helped Hamilton eliminate the Manitoba Moose in six games in the first round of the Calder Cup Playoffs as he led the 'Dogs in scoring with nine points (three goals, six assists) including two game-winning goals. During the regular season, Subban ranked third on the Bulldogs and third amongst AHL defenceman in scoring with 53 points (18 goals, 35 assists) in 77 games. The native of Toronto, Ontario ranked second in the AHL in plus/minus with a rating of +46 and also broke five franchise records for the Bulldogs including most goals and points by a 'Dogs defenceman in a single season.
The Bulldogs will either face the Abbotsford Heat or Rochester Americans in the North Division Final.
