Manchester Monarchs News Release
MANCHESTER, N.H. - With Opening Night of the 2016-17 season set for October 14 (7 p.m.), the Manchester Monarchs, ECHL affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, are proud to announce Uber as the official "Safe Ride Home" sponsor for all games taking place at SNHU Arena.
For the past two years, Uber has been connecting thousands of riders across the Granite State, and has been working with organizations to improve transportation options while making roads and streets safer.
"We are excited to work with the Manchester Monarchs in growing and improving transportation for Monarchs fans," said Uber New Hampshire General Manager, Cathy Zhou. "At Uber we are committed to making transportation reliable, convenient and safe for more people, as we look forward to building on this partnership to better connect our cities and communities throughout New Hampshire."
The Monarchs and Uber will provide a dedicated pick-up/drop-off location outside of SNHU Arena on Lake Street, and all new Uber subscribers will receive a $20 credit for their first use of the Safe Ride Home program.
The Monarchs open the 2016-17 regular season Oct. 14 (7 p.m.), when they host the Adirondack Thunder for the first of two games on Opening Weekend.
