NORFOLK, VA. - The Norfolk Admirals, proud ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers, received two more players from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Bakersfield Condors on Thursday.

Goaltender Eetu Laurikainen was assigned to the Admirals from the Condors by the Edmonton Oilers. Laurikainen played 18 games for the AHL club last season as well as 8 games for HPK of the top professional league in Finland. The 23-year-old additionally played the entire season in his native Finland in 2014-15, recording a 2.10 goals against average and a save percentage of .933.

The Condors also released Kevin Henderson from his tryout and he is expected to report to Norfolk. Henderson has NHL experience with the Nashville Predators, as well as winning a Calder Cup with the Texas Stars in 2014. Just like Laurikainen, the 6'3" - 209 lbs. forward spent time in the Finnish league last year. His time overseas came after recording 11 points in 19 games with the Quad City Mallards of the ECHL.

Both men are expected to be in the lineup tomorrow night when the Admirals open their regular season against the Kalamazoo Wings at the Norfolk Scope. Season tickets, ten packs, and single game tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by calling 757-640-1212.
