MONTREAL - CF Montréal will host the Philadelphia Union on Saturday afternoon in the Club's MLS home opener at the Olympic Stadium at 4pm (TVA Sports, TSN, 91.9 Sports, TSN690.ca).

Following a 2-0 opening season loss to Orlando City SC last Sunday, CF Montréal will take on the Union which it tied twice in 2021, including a 1-1 draw on the road on August 21 and a 2-2 result on October 16 following a stoppage-time equalizer from Sunusi Ibrahim in rain-soaked conditions at Stade Saputo.

Montreal holds an 9-7-8 all-time record against the Union in 24 games, while the team's MLS record at the Olympic Stadium sits at 8-2-6 in 16 games.

The Union concluded the 2021 season second in the Eastern Conference standings with a record of 14-8-12 and 54 points. The visitors arrive in Montreal following a 1-1 draw against Minnesota United FC at Subaru Park on February 26.

The home team will be without the services of Honduran forward Romell Quioto who will be suspended due to his ejection in Orlando last Sunday.

Due to the ongoing construction work surrounding Olympic Stadium as well as the checkpoints currently in place related to COVID-19 sanitary measures, the Olympic Park is encouraging all ticket holders to arrive early to facilitate traffic flow around the stadium and access to the game.
