Pearl, MS - After a three-day break for the Southern League All-Star game, the Mississippi Braves return to Trustmark Park to take on the Huntsville Stars in a five-game series. The five-game set will mark the Stars only appearance at Trustmark Park in 2009.

The homestand gets underway on Wednesday, July 15th when the first 1,000 children through the gates will receive a free Hank Aaron Educational Magazine. It will be Salvation Army Night when anyone bringing in at least one article of clothing will receive FREE admission to the game. Anyone donating five or more items will also receive a free hot dog, drink and a free gift from the M-Braves. It will also be Kids Night at Trustmark Park when children 14 and under get field level seats for only $2 and Fun Zone wristbands for only $5.

The M-Braves will celebrate Christmas in July on Thursday, July 16th. The M-Braves will wear special Christmas jerseys and the ballpark will be full of Christmas cheer. The jerseys will be auctioned off after the game as a part of the M-Braves Shirt off our Backs promotion. It will also be Thirsty Thursday when all 16 oz. soft drinks and domestic draft beer will be only $1. It will also be Mississippi Blood Services Awareness Night.

Friday, July 17th will feature the M-Braves famous Friday Night Fireworks Extravaganza compliments of Jackson Communications, The Score and 16 WAPT-TV.

On Saturday night, the Braves will feature a second Shirt off our Back Night. On Tropical Beach Night at Trustmark Park, the M-Braves will wear Hawaiian style jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game.

Sunday's 1:05 pm first pitch will be the only day game of the homestand. The Sunday game will feature the Braves FamilyFest when a family of four can get four dugout level seats, four hot dogs or hamburgers, four 16 oz. soft drinks, four bags of peanuts or cracker jacks, four M-Braves caps, two game programs and Fun Zone wristbands for the children for only $52 (regular price: $153). After the game, children 14 and under can run the bases at Trustmark Park compliments of Comcast Cable.
