MIDLAND - The Missions (8-13) suffered their fifth straight loss Friday night at Security Bank Ballpark, while allowing their most runs in nearly two years.

Starter Johnny Hellweg (1-3) hit Midland's leadoff batter on his first pitch of the game, and it was downhill from that point.

Hellweg lasted only 1.1 innings. He walked five, hit a batter, and was charged with seven runs.

Four Missions pitchers combined to allow 19 hits, eight walks, 10 extra base hits, and five wild pitches. It was the most runs San Antonio allowed since a 23-7 loss to Corpus Christi on August 25, 2014.

Auston Bousfield hit his first Double-A homerun and singled while driving in three for the Missions. Bousfield entered the game in a 4-for-36 slump.

Jose Rondon went hitless to snap his 10-game hitting streak.

NOTES: The Missions have allowed 24 homeruns, which is the second highest total in minor league baseball. At their current pace, they would allow 160.
