Minnesota Wild Signs Adam Gilmour to Entry-Level Contract

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has signed forward Adam Gilmour to a two-year, entry-level contract starting with the 2016-17 season.

    Gilmour, 22 (1/29/94), recorded 73 points (28-45=73) and 48 penalty minutes (PIM) in 119 games during three seasons at Boston College. The 6-foot-3, 192-pound native of Albany, N.Y., tallied 26 points (12-14=26) and 92 shots in 41 games during his recently completed junior season at Boston College. He ranked T-2nd on the team with four game-winning goals as the Eagles advanced to the NCAA Frozen Four. Gilmour collected 27 points (9-18=27) in 38 games during his sophomore season and ranked second on the team in scoring and power-play goals (5) and fourth in goals. He skated in all 40 games and ranked third amongst team freshmen in scoring in 2013-14. Gilmour was selected by Minnesota in the fourth round (98th overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
