Falcons Sign Macdonald, Release Roe

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons announced today the team has signed defenseman Jacob MacDonald to a Professional Tryout Contract. In a separate transaction, defenseman Logan Roe has been released from his Professional Tryout Contract.

The 23-year-old MacDonald played in 72 games with the Elmira Jackals (ECHL) this season recording 17- 20-37. The 6-foot 208 pound native of Brighton, MI is playing in his first professional season after skating at Cornell University the previous four seasons.

The 24-year-old Roe skated in three games with the Falcons registering three shots on goal. Roe dressed in 58 games with the Everblades this year posting 2-13-15, 32 penalty minutes (PIM) and a plus-23 rating.
