Minnesota United FC vs. Everton FC Preview
July 19, 2022 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
Minnesota United FC News Release
GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - The Black and Blue outshined the Black and Red on Saturday night. With an added spotlight performance from the Week 21 MLS Player of the Week, Emanuel Reynoso, putting away both goals in the Loons a 2-0 win over D.C. Next up, MNUFC has an exciting midweek matchup against Premier League side, Everton F.C. Everton is currently preparing for the 2022-2023 season with a two-game tour in the U.S. Last week, Everton played the first of these two games on Saturday where they lost 0-2 to fellow EPL side, Arsenal at M&T Bank Stadium. The Toffees now make their way over to Minnesota to face an MNUFC squad that is led by Everton legend, Adrian Heath. For Everton, it will be a chance to bounce back from a disappointing loss over the weekend and build some much needed momentum going into the new season. For MNUFC, it will be a chance to prove that they can hang with the big dogs from the UK in front of their fans.
