The Milkmen met up again with Wisconsin's all-time sports rival, the city of Chicago, in their first ever matchup at Routine Field. A lot of fun was had tonight with condiment painting and a hot dog eating contest along with other activities tonight.
Milwaukee had the offense rolling throughout the game, getting 9 hits, but leaving 13 men on base, and no runs scored.
The Dogs had three home runs in the game including two by Association home run leader, first basemen Keon Barnum.
Starting pitcher for the Milkmen, Kurt Heyer, takes the loss on the evening. He pitched 6 2/3 innings allowing 5 runs (2 earned), 5 hits, 1 walk and 7 strikeouts.
