
Milkmen Battle and Chip Away against Goldeyes

It was a long, offense packed game that saw the Milkmen and the Goldeyes trading runs. Manny Boscan started the night for Milwaukee with an RBI triple for the Milkmen.
The Goldeyes would lash out with a 5 run second inning, and adding 3 more runs in the fourth. Milwaukee would explode with 5 runs of their own in the fourth, including a two run bomb by Adam Walker (17).
The Milkmen would score one in the sixth and two in the eighth, falling just short of an incredible comeback.
Milwaukee finished with 11 hits and Manny Boscan ended the night with 3 RBIs of his own.
Starting pitcher, Derek Heffel pitched 1.1 innings, allowing 5 hits, 5 runs (4 earned), 1 walk and 2 strikeouts.
The game also saw the pitching debut of 44 year old Oak Creek native Travis Thompson, who last saw the mound in 2003.
