The first giveaway of the season is this Friday! Catch the Silvertips in action twice this week, featuring a matchup against an unfamiliar foe in the Prince Albert Raiders and their MOST familiar foe in the Seattle Thunderbirds. Here's what you need to know:
Silvertips vs Prince Albert Raiders - Wednesday, 11/15

Game notes: The Prince Albert Raiders (11-9-0-1, 23 pts) are in town for the first time in 1,488 days! Everett bested the Raiders the last time they were in town- a 2-1 OT victory on Oct. 19, 2019 with Michal Gut scoring the game-winner. Since then they have only met once, as the Silvertips topped P.A. during their East Division swing last year by a 4-2 score. Four Raiders have been ranked by the NHL Central Scouting Service as Players to Watch ahead of the 2024 NHL Draft, including Ryder Ritchie (#21) who was given an 'A' rating projecting him as a 1st-round pick. Defenseman Terrell Goldsmith (#10) was a fourth-round pick by the Arizona Coyotes in 2023.

Game notes: This is the first of eight eventual matchups with the Seattle Thunderbirds (8-5-1-0, 17 pts), four of which will be played at Angel of the Winds Arena. Seattle, the reigning WHL champs, is led up front by Eric Alarie who was acquired via offseason trade with the Moose Jaw Warriors. The Thunderbirds' roster boasts six NHL draftees, including second-rounders Nico Myatovic (ANA) and Gracyn Sawchyn (FLA) as well as fifth-round goaltender Scott Ratzlaff (BUF).
