Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies News Release

Atlantic City, NJ – Peoria's Alfie Michaud stopped all 37 shots he faced and Randy Rowe's goal in the third period was the difference as the Peoria Rivermen defeated the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies 2-0 before 1587 at Historic Boardwalk Hall in ECHL action Wednesday. Atlantic City is just 2-7-2 in their last 11 games.

After a scoreless two periods, Rowe tallied the only goal Peoria (19-16-4) would need when his intended pass across the slot deflected off Bullies goaltender Tyler MacKay's stick and into the net at 7:47 of the third to give the Rivermen a 1-0 lead. Tyler Rennette added an empty-net goal at 19:28 to seal the victory.

Atlantic City out-shot Peoria 37-19. MacKay stopped 17 shots as he fell to 0-4 on the season. The Bullies went 0-3 on the power play.
