Oke Acquired from Toledo

Atlanta Gladiators News Release


The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that they have acquired defenseman Andrew Oke from the Toledo Storm in exchange for future considerations. The Gladiators also announced that they have released defenseman Joel Pullman.

Oke appeared in 39 games this season with the Toledo Storm posting 2 goals, both on the power play, and 4 assists for 6 points.

The Fenelon Falls, Ontario native began his professional career in the Central Hockey League appearing with the Laredo Bucks, Wichita Thunder and Tulsa Oilers where he recorded 2 goals and 9 assists in 60 games combined.

Pullman did not register a point for the Gladiators in last night's contest while the defenseman was a -1 in the Gladiators 4-3 win over Pee Dee. Pullman returns to Columbus of the Southern Professional Hockey League where he posted 5 goals and 4 assists for 9 points in 26 games this season.

Oke should be available for the Gladiators 7:05 p.m. contest in South Carolina on Friday night.
