Six Players From All-Star Game Move Up To AHL

PRINCETON, N.J. - Six players from the 2005 ECHL All-Star Game were called up to the American Hockey League following the game while three players who had returned to play in the game returned to the AHL afterwards.
Columbia's Greg Amadio signed a tryout agreement on January 29 and has six penalty minutes in three games with Grand Rapids. Gwinnett's Brett Engelhardt was called up to St. John's where he has an assist and eight penalty minutes in 15 games. Northern Conference captain Luke Curtin was loaned to San Antonio and had a power-play assist in his first game while Texas' Lou Dickenson was recalled to San Antonio.
Jeff Hutchins of Mississippi was loaned to Grand Rapids and has 18 penalty minutes in his first three games while Pensacola goaltender Todd Ford was called up to St. John's. Returning from Hartford for the All-Star Game, Charlotte's Ryan Glenn was +2 in his first game back with the Wolf Pack on January 29. Connor James of Bakersfield, who was recalled to Manchester on January 29 and played on January 30 against Lowell, has eight penalty minutes in seven games with Manchester. Andrew Canzanello, who was called up to Cincinnati on January 21, has an assist and eight penalty minutes in six games with the Mighty Ducks. On call up to Philadelphia, Stephen Wood of Trenton returned for the game. Dana Lattery of Las Vegas was called up to Providence after being named to the All-Star team and was reassigned to the ECHL on January 21.
Five players originally selected for the All-Star Game were called up to the AHL and were unable to return to participate in the ECHL All-Star Game. Peoria's James Sanford has two goals and four penalty minutes in 11 games with Hamilton while Reading's Jeff Miles has two points (1g-1a) and two penalty minutes in six games with Manchester. Voted as a starter at forward, Johnstown's Brent Kelly has three assists and two penalty minutes in 11 games with Grand Rapids while Wheeling goaltender Dany Sabourin, who was voted as a starter, is 2-2-2 with a goals-against average of 1.80 and a save percentage of .933 in six games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Martin St. Pierre of Greenville scored a goal in his first AHL game and has three points (2g-1a) and four penalty minutes in seven games with Edmonton.
