
Micflikier Recalled to Albany; Buck Returns from Houston

PRINCETON, N.J. - Florida Everblades and ECHL leading scorer and Reebok Hockey ECHL Player of the Month Jacob Micflikier has been recalled to Albany of the American Hockey League. Rookie winger Brandon Buck has been reassigned to Florida by Houston (AHL).
Micflikier, a third-year professional, leads the ECHL and Everblades in scoring with nine goals and 32 points in just 16 games played. Micflikier's 23 assists leads the ECHL, plus his 12 assists on the power play and 15 power play points rank first in the ECHL as well. He has been named the Sher-wood Hockey ECHL player of the Week and most recently named the Reebok Hockey ECHL Player of the Month for November.
In five games in Albany this season, Micflikier has three goals for three points. In 56 AHL games over three seasons, Micflikier has scored 11 goals and 17 assists with 16 minutes in penalties.
Brandon Buck returns to Florida after spending several weeks with Houston (AHL). Buck appeared in five games with the Aeros and was held scoreless. The Delaware Ontario native has skated in 13 games with the Everblades this season and tallied five goals and eight points.
Florida Everblades Hockey - Serious Hockey...Serious Fun! The Florida Everblades return home for six games over the next two weeks. The Blades take on the Charlotte Checkers on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday - December 9, 11 and 12. Wednesdays are "Wet Wednesdays" where 20-ounce Budweiser drafts are just $2.00. Fans who bring a canned food item to the game receive a FREE ticket voucher to the Florida College Classic. Friday night is Mac and Cheese night! Fans are encouraged to bring a box of Mac & Cheese to the game and use it to cheer on the Everblades during the game then drop it in the Harry Chapin Food Bank bin after the game. Finally on Saturday, it's the annual Teddy Bear Toss. Bring a teddy bear to the game and throw it on the ice after the 'Blades first goal and those teddy bears will be collected and given to underprivileged kids during the holidays.
