Salmon Kings' D-Man Ellington Re-Assigned

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that defenseman Taylor Ellington has been re-assigned by the Vancouver Canucks from the Manitoba Moose to Victoria.

The Victoria, BC native rejoins the Salmon Kings after playing two games for Manitoba after being re-assigned on November 25th. Ellington finished his two game stint with the Moose with a plus/minus rating of +1.

The 6-0, 200lb defenseman has participated in 13 games with the Salmon Kings this season, where he has registered five points (1g-4a) and four minutes in penalties.

Ellington is under NHL contract to the Canucks, and was selected in the second round (#33 overall) by the Canucks during the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

The Salmon Kings and Wranglers continue their three-game set over the next two nights in Sin City. Puck drop for both games is 7:05 p.m. The Salmon Kings then travel to Ontario to face the Reign on Sunday, December 6th at 5:00 p.m. Victoria returns to the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre next week versus the Wranglers for a three-game set with contests on Thursday, December 10th, Friday, December 11th, and Saturday, December 12th.
