Florida's Micflikier Named Reebok Hockey ECHL Player Of The Month For November

PRINCETON, N.J. - Jacob Micflikier of the Florida Everblades is the Reebok Hockey ECHL Player of the Month for November.

Micflikier led the league in November with 28 points and 21 assists in 11 games while leading the Everblades with a plus-minus rating of +8. He had three power-play goals and helped the Everblades to a 7-3-1 record.

The 25 year old had his first career hat trick and set a career best and ECHL season high with six points in a 7-0 win at Charlotte on Nov. 5. He had three or more points in seven of his 11 games in November, ending the month with four points (1g-3a) in a 5-2 win at Kalamazoo on Nov. 29.

The left wing leads the ECHL with 12 power-play assists, 23 assists and 32 points while his nine goals and plus-minus rating of +11 are tops on the Everblades. He is under contract to Albany of the American Hockey League and has three goals in five games for the River Rats.

The Winnipeg, Manitoba native played for the Stockton Thunder as a rookie in 2007-08 and had 37 points (10g-27a) in 29 regular season games and 13 points (4g-9a) in six Kelly Cup Playoff games. He had 24 points (10g-14a) in 10 regular season games and four points (2g-2a) in six Kelly Cup Playoff games for Florida in 2008-09 while also playing in the AHL where he had 16 points (4g-12a) in 39 games for Rochester. He has played in the AHL each of his first three years and has 28 points (11g-17a) in 61 games for Albany, Rochester and Springfield.
