
Royals Fan To Celebrate NHL Winter Classic Hockey History

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced the team's 2010 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic Travel & Tickets Promotion. In a special celebration to be held during the second intermission of the Royals' game at the Sovereign Center in Reading, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday, December, 29, 2009 (7:05 pm), against the Elmira Jackals, a random drawing will select one Grand Prize Winner, who will receive a travel, hotel and tickets package that includes round-trip limousine service to and from Boston, Massachusetts (and Reading, PA), three nights hotel accommodations at the Hyatt-Regency Boston, and two tickets to the January 1, 2010 (1:00 pm) showdown between the Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers at Fenway Park. During the Royals' game night intermission celebration, there will also be two Runners-Up selected-one of whom will receive a Boston Bruins' replica jersey, and the other will receive a Philadelphia Flyers' replica jersey.
Please note that you must be 18 years of age or older to participate in the Royals' 2010 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic Travel & Tickets Promotion-otherwise it's simple for fans to participate in the raffle drawing. All you have to do is attend the Royals' game against the Jackals on December 29, 2009. Each person of appropriate age entering the Sovereign Center that night will receive an official entry form. Please note that only one entry form can be submitted per contestant, who must be in attendance at the Sovereign Center during the second intermission of the game that evening to win. This Royals return to action this weekend with a three game set against the Trenton Devils. On Friday (December 4, 7:00 pm), Reading travels to Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, New Jersey to face the Devils. The two teams meet up again at the Sovereign Center in Reading on Saturday night (7:05 pm) and finish the three game series in Trenton on Sunday afternoon (4:00 pm). The Royals game night broadcast on the Royals Radio Network Presented by Transmissions by Arbogast kicks off thirty-minutes before game time each night.
