
Mets Begin Busy 7-Game Home Stand Friday

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - The St. Lucie Mets begin a busy seven-game home stand on Friday evening. The stretch of games at Tradition Field spans Friday-Thursday and features the Mets hosting the Fort Myers Miracle (Twins) for three games and Clearwater Threshers (Phillies) for four games.
Highlighting the week will be Free T-shirt Friday, Halfway to Halloween (Friday), Bark in the Park (Friday), Scout Night (Saturday), postgame fireworks (Saturday), Vets at the Mets (Sunday), Education Day (Wednesday) and Dollar Night (Thursday).
Here is a full list of events at Tradition Field for the seven games:
Friday - 6:30 p.m.
-Free T-shirt Friday: The first 500 fans get a free Mets Halloween-inspired T-shirt courtesy of Coca-Cola.
-Halfway to Halloween: In honor of the spooky Friday the 13th, the Mets will have a costume contest, themed games and Halloween music. Trick-or-Treat tables will be set up around the terrace.
Bark in the Park: Fans can bring their dogs to the berm for $2. Proceeds go to the St. Lucie County Humane Society.
-Team Photo Giveaway: The first 500 fans will receive a team photo of the 2016 St. Lucie Mets.
-First Responders Night: All police, firefighters and EMTs get a ticket for $4.
-Klutch's Kids Crew Night: All kids club members receive free admission.
-Fun Run Around the Bases after the game.
Saturday - 6:30 p.m.
-Scout Night: Local Boy Scouts will have a pregame parade on field. After the game scouts can set up tents and camp out in the outfield. A movie will play on the video board and breakfast served in the morning.
-Blue Point Special: All-you-can-drink Blue Point for $15 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Includes game ticket.
-Postgame fireworks.
Sunday - 1 p.m.
-Vets at the Mets/Police Appreciation Day: The Mets celebrate our Treasure Coast law enforcement and veterans. Players will escort veterans to the field for first pitches and there will be a pregame motorcycle parade. There will be an on-field police presentation before the game.
-Sunday Brunch: Starting at 11:30 a.m. fans can enjoy a brunch buffet featuring an omelet station, meat carving station, French toast, bacon eggs, biscuits and gravy and more. Cost is $18 day of. The brunch will be held on the covered terrace and the price includes a ticket to the game.
-Family Four Pack: four tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas and one family sized popcorn for $24.
Monday - 6:30 p.m.
-Kids Night: All kids 12-and-under receive free admission.
Tuesday - 6:30 p.m.
-For $15 fans can get two tickets, two hot dogs and two sodas.
-$2 general admission tickets for followers of @stluciemets on Twitter.
-Silver Sluggers Night: Silver Sluggers members receive free admission and a free hot dog.
-Baseball bingo (free for all fans).
Wednesday - 10:30 a.m.
-Education Day: The Mets welcome hundreds of school children for morning baseball at Tradition Field. The general public is welcome to attend.
Thursday - 6:30 p.m.
-Ignite Wrestling will be in the house. Lince Dorado, a member of the WWE Global Cruiserweight Series, will have a meet and greet with fans, sign autographs and take pictures.
-Dollar Night: $2 draft beers, $1 soda, $1 hot dogs and $1 popcorn. Purchase a special Mets solo cup for $10 and receive $1 beer refills on every Dollar Night the remainder of the season.
