Mayer Scores Two, Adds Assist as Petes Beat IceDogs in Overtime

(St. Catharines, ON) - On Friday, October 27, the Peterborough Petes traveled to St. Catharines for their first meeting of the season with the Niagara IceDogs. The Petes would win the game 4-3 in overtime, keeping them at the top of the OHL's East Division.

Sam Mayer led the way for the Petes with two goals (including the overtime winner) and an assist. Jax Dubois scored and had an assist, while Donovan McCoy and Jonathan Melee both picked up two assists. Tommy Purdeller scored and Owen Beck added an assist. Zach Bowen stopped 33/36 to improve his season record to 3-0.
