Mavs Take Down Grizzlies in Overtime, Win 5-4

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - The Kansas City Mavericks defeated the Utah Grizzlies 5-4 Saturday night at the Maverik Center. Brodie Reid, Darik Angeli, Lane Scheidl, and Phil Marinaccio netted goals for the Mavericks. The Mavericks return to action Monday night at 6:10 p.m. against the Utah Grizzlies at the Maverik Center.

First Period

Utah goal: A.J. White (1) at 1:23. Assisted by Matthew Boucher and Kris Myllari.

Kansas City goal: Darik Angeli (1) at 3:26. Assisted by Justin Woods and Willie Corrin.

Kansas City goal: Brodie Reid (4) at 9:30.

Kansas City goal: Lane Scheidl (4) at 15:00. Assisted by Brodie Reid and Giorgio Estephan.
