Tuesday, December 29 - Missouri Mavericks at Mississippi RiverKings, 7:05 p.m. CST

Missouri travels to Southaven, Mississippi for the third time this season still looking for their first win over the RiverKings. Mississippi is 2-0-0 against the Mavericks and has outscored Missouri 10-3 in the two games. Missouri will head home after the game Tuesday night to play on New Year's Eve at Independence Events Center, but will turn around and head right back to Mississippi for a game on New Year's Day. Mississippi is led by Louis Dumont who has 27 points (11-16=27) 28 games, and Bobby Chaumont who had a hat trick against Missouri in the teams' last meeting.
Thursday, December 31 - Missouri Mavericks vs. Colorado Eagles, 7:05 p.m. CST

The Mavericks host the Eagles for the first time at the IEC on New Year's Eve night. Colorado is 3-0-0 against the Mavericks this season and leads the Northern Conference with a 20-5-1 record. The Eagles have scored six goals in each of the three games against Missouri respectively, however the Mavericks have scored the first goal in the past two contests. Special teams have been the difference to this point in the series. Colorado has five goals on 16 power play opportunities while the Mavericks have scored just once on 22 chances. Mavericks' forward Nick Sirota has at least one goal in every game against the Eagles and has four of the team's eight total goals. Missouri will host Colorado two more times this season, on February 2, 2010 and March 5, 2010.

Saturday, January 2 - Missouri Mavericks at Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs, 7:05 p.m. CST

The Mudbugs host the Mavericks for the second time this season in Missouri's fourth game in five nights. Missouri lost to the Mudbugs 3-2 on November 28 after Mudbugs' forward Travis Clayton scored two goals in the third period to overcome a 2-1 deficit. This is the second of five meetings between the teams and second of three at CenturyTel Center where they will meet in the final game of the regular season.

Tuesday, December 12 - Missouri 6 vs. Laredo 5 - Shootout
The Missouri Mavericks defeated the Laredo Bucks 6-5 in a shootout Tuesday night in front of 5,380 fans at Independence Events Center. Mavericks' defenseman Andrew Davis scored in the final round of the shootout, and five different players had goals in regulation for Missouri who improved to 11-14-1 on the season. Forward Lance Monych had a hat-trick for the Bucks in a back-and-forth battle that had three lead changes. The six goals for the Mavericks marked the first Backyard Burger Six-Goal Shootout in which fans at the game were treated to a free burger at Backyard Burgers.
Saturday, December 26 - Missouri 6 at Wichita 2
The Missouri Mavericks beat the Wichita Thunder 6-2 Saturday night at Kansas Coliseum. Jeff Christian had a pair of goals and four other Mavericks scored in the team's seventh win in seven games over the Thunder. Mavericks' goaltender Alexandre Vincent stopped 20 of 22 shots for his third win of the season.
Notes
4 in 5 - Missouri will play four games in five nights this week, three of which are on the road. The Mavericks have three such occurrences this season. They have already competed through one "four-in-five" and will have one more from February 26-March 2, 2010.
Three straight - The Mavericks will attempt to win their third straight game on Tuesday in Mississippi. The Mavericks have won two consecutive games six times this season, but have failed to win the third straight in the previous five tries.
Offensive outburst - Missouri scored 12 total goals in their two games last week, both wins. The Mavericks previous best for goals in consecutive games was nine when they defeated Tulsa and Wichita on November 26 and 27.
New Year's Eve Party Packs, $2010 Giveaway - The Mavs are pleased to announce a New Year's Eve Party Pack for their game on December 31 against the Colorado Eagles. The party pack includes four terrace tickets, four Pepsis and four hotdogs for just $60 (normally $100). To take advantage of this special offer, fans must call the Mavericks' front office at (816) 252-7825. The offer is not available at the Box Office, and party packs must be purchased by noon on December 31. Missouri will also give 100 lucky fans $20.10 for a total of $2010 throughout the night.
Two for Tuesdays - January 5 is another Price Chopper "Two for Tuesday". Every Tuesday game throughout the regular season, fans can purchase two-for-one Terrace or Club seats by showing their Price Chopper Shopper cards. This promotion is available on day of game only and at the Box Office only. Buy one Terrace/Club seat get one free. The limit one per person per card, and is available to the first 250 fans.
Superfan is Back - On January 16, Superfan will make his return to the IEC when the Mavericks host the Mississippi RiverKings.
