Mavs Moments
* With five assists in three games last week, Bryce Aneloski has taken over the team lead in scoring. His three-assist night on Oct. 28 set a career high in assists in a game and equaled his best for points in a game (3g, 3/22/14). * Eamon McAdam entered last Friday's game with the score tied 3-3 and stopped 22 of 23 shots through regulation, and five of six in the shootout, to earn his first professional win. However, since his pro debut last spring he has yet to receive more than one goal of offensive support during his time on the ice. * The Mavericks have scored three power play goals in their last two games (3-for-15, 20%). They earned 10 power plays (most in a game this season) on Sunday in Brampton and currently lead the league with 46 power play chances this season (7.67 PP/game). * The Mavericks had a league-best 29 home wins last season and are 1-0-0 at home this season. They play four of five games at home to begin November and Saturday's matchup with Tulsa starts a four-game home stand. * Four of the Mavericks' top 10 scorers through the first month of the season are rookies. Darren Nowick is the top scoring rookie with four points (2g, 2a), while Lukas Lofquist has the best points-per-game average at .67 (1g, 2a in 5 games).
