-- Eagles Agree to Terms with Forward Jackson Houck

WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles, proud affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, announced Tuesday that they have signed forward Jackson Houck to a standard player contract. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound winger was a 4th round pick of the Edmonton Oilers in the 2013 NHL entry draft and has already appeared in 10 AHL games with the Rampage and Oklahoma City Barons.

The 21 year-old rookie recently completed a five-year career in the WHL, where he amassed 107 goals and 135 assists in 312 contests with the Vancouver Giants and Calgary Hitmen. Houck enjoyed his most productive season during the 2013-14 campaign with the Giants, registering 34 goals and 27 assists in 69 games.

The Eagles return home to face the Reading Royals in the first ever meeting between the two clubs on Wednesday, November 2nd at 7:05pm at the Budweiser Events Center.
