Previewing This Week

Friday, October 21 at Wichita - 7:05 p.m. | Home vs. WIC (0-0-0), Away vs. WIC (0-0-0)

The Mavericks and Thunder will meet for the first of 13 games on Friday night, and first of six to be played in Wichita. Last season the Mavericks found the confines of INTRUST Bank Arena to be quite friendly as they went 7-1-0 there. Overall the Mavericks had a 13-1-1 against the Thunder in 2015-16 and are 16-7-2 against them in their ECHL history. Wichita, like Missouri, will be looking for its first win of the season after dropping a 4-3 decision to the Tulsa Oilers on Oct. 15.

Saturday, October 22 vs. Indy - 7:05 p.m. | Home vs. IND (0-0-0), Away vs. IND (0-0-0)

Last season Mavericks fans became quite familiar with the Indy Fuel as they visited Silverstein Eye Centers Arena five times. This season, though, the Fuel only visit once and the Mavericks will look to continue their run of success against the Fuel. Missouri is 5-0-0 at home against Indy after sweeping the home set last season, and 6-1-0 against the Fuel overall. Indy enters this week at 2-0-0 after winning a pair of home games over Cincinnati last season. Alex Wideman is the team's leading scorer with three points (3g) while Jake Hildebrand won both games last weekend and stopped 96 percent of the shots he faced.
