OILERS TO WELCOME INDY AND ATLANTA ON HOME-OPENING WEEKEND

SATURDAY - TULSA OILERS 4, WICHITA THUNDER 3 (Intrust Bank Arena - Wichita, KS)
The Oilers opened the season at Wichita in the first of 14 meetings between the two division rivals. After the Thunder opened the scoring early in the first period, Tulsa answered midway through the frame when rookie Darcy Murphy notched the team's first goal of the season. Murphy struck again early in the second period, and assisted on a Shawn Bates goal to complete a three-point night and give the Oilers a 3-1 lead after two. In his first professional start, goaltender Jamie Phillips stopped 15 third period shots and 31 for the game, while Kale Kessy added an insurance goal to give Tulsa a 4-3 victory.

OPENING NIGHT - OSU MEDICAL CENTER SCHEDULE MAGNET GIVEAWAY
The Tulsa Oilers begin their ninth season of play at the BOK Center Friday night when the Indy Fuel come to town. The Fuel are coming off back-to-back wins against the Cincinnati Cyclones to open the season, after sweeping a home-and-home series last weekend. Oilers magnet schedules will be given away to fans in attendance, as Tulsa starts a stretch of four home games in five days.
ADOPT-AN-OILER AUCTION ON SATURDAY
After Saturday's game against the Atlanta Gladiators, Oilers fans will be able to take part in the annual "Adopt-An-Oiler" auction at the BOK Center, with a chance to win their favorite player's jersey and sponsor that player for the season.
SUNDAY FAMILY FUNDAY - POSTGAME SKATE WITH THE PLAYERS
The Oilers wrap up the weekend with an afternoon tilt against the Gladiators again, and fans are welcome to stick around after the game to skate with the players on the BOK Center ice. The game starts at 4:05pm.
