Morning skate will be held at approximately 10:15am on game days. Media availability will be held immediately following all practices and morning skates.
Boise, ID- The Steelheads and Grizzlies head to Boise for the Steelheads home-opener and to finish their four-game season opening series. The Grizzlies swept both games at Maverik Center, and the Steelheads will look to return the favor with games on Friday and Saturday night. Counting the preseason exhibition games., the Steelheads and Grizzlies will have met six times to start the season by the end of Saturday night's action.
Player Notes:
- F Rob Linsmayer is two points shy of 100 for his professional career, and four points shy of 100 for his Steelheads career. Linsmayer is looking to become the 12th player to score 100 points in an Idaho uniform during the ECHL era.
- D Joe Faust scored the Steelheads lone goal on the weekend on the power play, the second PP goal of his pro career and his first goal in 12 games dating back to last season.
- D Charlie Dodero and F Travis Ewanyk are tied for the team lead with eight shots on goal.
- D Travis Walsh earned his first career point on October 14th with a PP assist.

Team Notes:
- The Steelheads killed 13 of 14 short-handed situations during their first two games, including two 5-on-3 situations.
- The Steelheads have recorded 27 shots on goal in the first two periods of games, and 35 shots on goal in third periods.
- Idaho lost back-to-back games at Maverik Center after going 5-1-0 in Utah last season
- The Steelheads start the season 0-2-0 for the first time since the 2012-13 season, also both losses to Utah.
- The Steelheads are 7-4-2 in home openers in the ECHL era.
