
Mavericks to Play Intrasquad Game October 7

INDEPENDENCE, Missouri - Missouri Mavericks' President and General Manager Brent Thiessen announced today the Central Hockey League (CHL) club will play an intrasquad game on Wednesday, October 7 at Pepsi Ice Midwest starting at 7:05 p.m. The "Orange vs. Blue Game" will be the first opportunity for fans to see the Mavericks in action during the team's inaugural training camp.
Tickets for the game are just $5 and on sale at the Mavericks' kiosk at the Independence Center mall starting tomorrow, Wednesday, September 9. Due to the limited seating, fans are encouraged to get their tickets quickly. All seating is general admission.

"I am very excited to give our fans a sneak peak of our players in game-like action prior to us hitting the road for 11 games including a pair of pre-season tilts with the Wichita Thunder," said Mavericks' Head Coach Scott Hillman.
