Mavericks to Play Five Games in Four Days at Heritage Field

ADELANTO, Calif. - The High Desert Mavericks, Advanced-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, begin a five-game, four-day homestand, featuring a double-header Sunday, July 19 at Heritage Field. The series begins Saturday, July 18 at 7:05 P.M. against the Los Angeles Angels affiliate, the Inland Empire 66ers.

The series premieres on a Signature Saturday, featuring the "Signature Event", the 2015 Girl Scout campout on the field immediately following the conclusion of the game. Additionally, all kids 12 and under in attendance will be invited to participate in Kids Run the Bases, presented by Jack in the Box. As each child exits the field, they will receive a coupon for one free item at Jack in the Box. Gates open at 6:00 P.M. Parking opens at 5:00 P.M. and is $2.00 per car.

Sunday, July 19 is a scheduled double-header to make up for a postponed game on May 7 due to extreme weather conditions. Game one will begin at 4:00 P.M. Game two will start approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of the first game. All Sunday, July 19 tickets are valid for both games.

Sunday's double-header is also Domingos Latinos, where you can bring out the entire family to enjoy a day of Mavericks baseball while listening to all in-game announcements and on-field promotions in both Spanish and English. Again, kids 12 and under will be invited to participate in Jack in the Box Kids Run the Bases at the end of Game two. Gates and parking for the Sunday event open at 3:30 P.M.

Monday, July 20, is a Mavericks 25th Anniversary Monday. In honor of the 25th anniversary season of professional baseball in the High Desert, single game tickets to the Monday contest purchased at the box office will be 25% off (not valid with any other discount). First pitch on Monday is at 7:05 P.M. Gates open at 6:00 P.M.

Tuesday is the final Texas-Sized Tuesday of the month of July, highlighting discounted signature food and drink items. Texas-Sized Tuesday is celebrated in honor of the Mavericks new MLB affiliate, the Texas Rangers. Featured and discounted concession items include $4 24 oz. domestic cans and drafts, $4 Texas Ranger Burger and $4 Mavericks Super Nachos. These items will be available at the Chuck Wagon stand throughout the game. First pitch on Tuesday is at 7:05 P.M. and gates open at 6:00 P.M.

The Mavericks are back in action starting Thursday, July 30 with a four-game set at Heritage Field. Game one is a Thirsty Thursday, which includes $2 Pepsi products, $2 domestic beer cans/drafts and $4.50 24 oz. beer cans/drafts. The Mavericks will be taking on the Lancaster JetHawks, affiliate of the Houston Astros. Thursday's first pitch is slated for 7:05 P.M.
