Mavericks Reassign Dwight Powell to the Texas Legends

DALLAS - The Dallas Mavericks announced today that they have reassigned center/forward Dwight Powell to the Texas Legends of the NBA Development League.
Powell (6-11, 240) has appeared in 20 games for the Mavericks this season and is averaging 3.5 points and 2.1 rebounds in 9.7 minutes per game.
Powell is averaging 30.3 points, 9.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.1 blocks and 38.0 minutes in seven games (all starts) for the Legends this season. He will be available for tonight's 7 p.m. contest against the Maine Red Claws at Dr Pepper Arena in Frisco.
