TULSA, Okla. - The Missouri Mavericks kick off a home-and-home weekend series with the Tulsa Oilers tonight and their first visit of the season to the BOK Center. The Mavericks have earned three of a possible four points in their last two road games and are looking to deal Tulsa its first home loss of the season.

CHECKING THE RIVALRY
The Mavericks are facing the Oilers tonight for the first of 11 meetings this season and the first of six to be played at the BOK Center. Missouri has a 15-6-2 all-time ECHL record against Tulsa, including a 7-3-2 record on the road. Tulsa was a tough stop for the Mavericks last season as they were a game over .500 here with a 3-2-2 record. Tulsa has opened the season with five consecutive home wins and is averaging 4.6 goals per game at the BOK Center. Missouri, which dropped its first four road games of the season has earned three of a possible four points in its last two road games and is averaging four goals per game in that time. Missouri's last win in Tulsa was on Jan. 5, 2016.
YOUTH MOVEMENT
When Ville Husso started in goal against Brampton last Friday, he was the second rookie goalie, and 12th rookie player overall, to suit up for the Mavericks this season. Rookies now make up 52% (12 of 23) of the roster that the Mavericks have used in games this season. First year pros have accounted for 6 of Missouri's 15 goals (40%) with Darren Nowick and Sam Povorozniouk tied for the rookie lead with two goals each.
