Fresno Falcons News Release

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - The Fresno Falcons have placed Shawn Mather on seven-day injured reserve after the centerman suffered a severely lacerated finger during last night's 5-4 overtime loss to the Alaska Aces. Replacing Mather in the line-up is winger Brad Both, who has been activated from seven-day IR.

Tonight, Fresno and Alaska complete a three-game set in Anchorage and clash for the fourth straight game overall. The Falcons are still searching for their first win of the series as they attempt to halt the Aces' franchise-record 10-game winning streak.
