(Johnstown, PA)--The Johnstown Chiefs completed a dominating performance, Saturday night, by shutting out Dayton, 4-0.

Jonathan Boutin stopped all 31 shots he faced, including 13 shots in the first period. In addition to the first shut-out of the season, Boutin also earned number one star honors.

Justin Kelly opened the scoring seven minutes into the first period, dancing into slot and whipping a shot past Bombers goalie Mike Brown. Kelly would later assist on Brandon Elliotts rebound goal, which made it 4-0. Elliott also flexed his muscle by pounding Bomber forward Wes Rypien in a first period fight.

In between, Joe Tallari chipped in his 5th of the year to make it 2-0, and Adam Henrich returned to the scoreboard with a power play goal to make it 3-0.

J.B. Bittner added two assists, continuing his strong play since returning from Portland of the AHL.

The Chiefs are back in the think of the North division. They now trail 4th place Toledo by just one point and third place Trenton by 4. The Chiefs are in Toledo tomorrow afternoon-the game can be heard on the Chiefs radio network (850-AM, 990-AM). The Chiefs are back home Wednesday night, to host the Trenton Titans.
