San Diego Gulls News Release

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah - The San Diego Gulls have signed left-winger Patrick Levesque and placed center Darren Clark on the seven-day injured list, head coach Martin St. Amour announced Saturday.

Levesque began the season with the Bakersfield Condors, recording no points or penalty minutes in six games. The 6-foot-2-inch, 200-pound native of Trois Riviers, Quebec split last season with the Southern Professional Hockey League's Jacksonville Barracudas and Central Hockey League's Amarillo Gorillas. The 21-year-old winger spent his rookie season with the CHL's Corpus Christi Rayz in 2003-04 and notched a career high six goals, 21 assists, 27 points and 67 penalty minutes.

Clark suffered a bruised elbow during Friday's contest against the Phoenix Roadrunners. He will miss both of San Diego's contest in Utah.
