San Jose Earthquakes News Release
Kickoff
Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at Camping World Stadium. The matchup marks the Earthquakes' first game against Orlando City SC on their turf and second overall.
Broadcast Information
The game will be aired live on CSN Plus, 1590 KLIV (English) and 1370 KZSF (Spanish).
Cross Country Road Trip
The trip to Orlando marks the Quakes' second cross-country trip this season, and the farthest they've traveled in 2016. The last matchup they had on the East Coast resulted in a 1-1 draw against Philadelphia. They are 2-1-1 in their last four cross-country matches, stemming back to last season.
Searching for a Win
The Earthquakes are still searching for their first road win of the season, where they are currently 0-4-3. They are also looking for their first win on a Saturday this season (0-2-4).
Without Wondo
The Earthquakes will be likely without leading scorer Chris Wondolowski after the United States National Team advanced to the quarterfinal of Copa America Centenario. The Earthquakes are winless in their two matchups without him this season and were shutout on both occasions.
Coach Comes Back
Earthquakes head coach Dominic Kinnear will be back with the team after missing their last MLS matchup vs. Portland due to a minor car accident. Though the Quakes put on a valiant effort in his absence, the team will be happy to have their leader back on the sidelines.
