MARLIES NOTES

** Marlies' captain Marc Moro scored his first goal wearing a Marlies' uniform in Friday's 4-2 loss versus Grand Rapids. The Toronto native was credited with a goal last January 10th at Houston but the goal was later awarded to fellow defenceman Ian White. After being held without a goal in 73 games last season, it took the veteran less than three full games to do so this year.

** Marlies' newcomer Erik Westrum has recorded points in the first four games of the season with Toronto. The Minneapolis native leads the team with six points after having earned an assist on the team's second goal yesterday afternoon. Fellow Minnesotan Chris Harrington is tied for second in team scoring with three points. John Pohl (Red Wing, MN) led last year's Marlies with 75 points in 60 games.

** Second year Marlie Colin Murphy scored a goal and added an assist in his season debut Sunday afternoon versus Hershey. Murphy recorded 34 points (16 goals, 18 assists) in only 53 games as an AHL rookie last season. His 16 goals ranked sixth on the team.
