Monarchs Zeiler Suspended Two Games

SPRINGFIELD, MA - The American Hockey League today announced that Manchester Monarchs forward John Zeiler has been suspended for two (2) regular-season games as a result of his actions during an AHL game vs. the Portland Pirates on Oct. 15.

Zeiler will miss Manchester's games on Oct. 20 at Springfield and Oct. 21 at Providence.

The American Hockey League has also announced that Chicago Wolves forward Kyle Wanvig has been suspended for one (1) regular-season game as a result of his actions during an AHL game vs. the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights on Oct. 15.

Wanvig was assessed an instigator penalty within the final five minutes of the third period, resulting in an automatic one-game suspension. He will miss Chicago's game on Oct. 18 at San Antonio.
