Marlies Tap Miles, Leveille

COLUMBIA, S.C.- Forwards Michel Leveille and Jeff Miles have been recalled to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, Inferno head coach and director of hockey operations Troy Mann announced today.

Leveille, 26, returns to the Marlies after recording five points (one goal, four assists) and four penalty minutes in four games with the Inferno. The five-foot-nine, 180-pound forward native of Levis, Quebec, has eight points (six goals, two assists) and 10 penalty minutes in 33 games with the Marlies this season, his second in the AHL. Prior to turning pro, Leveille had 148 points (52 goals, 96 assists) and 210 penalty minutes in 152 career games with the University of Maine.

Miles, 26, heads to the Marlies after recording 57 points (22 goals, 35 assists) and 40 penalty minutes in 56 games with the Inferno this season. The six-foot, 190-pound native of Pickering, Ontario, has 233 points (98 goals, 135 assists) and 167 penalty minutes in 223 career ECHL games with Reading, Utah and Columbia from 2004-05 through 2007-08. Miles also has eight points (six goals, two assists) and 12 penalty minutes in 46 career AHL games with Norfolk, Manchester, Milwaukee, Bridgeport and Hershey from 2003-04 through 2006-07. Prior to turning pro, Miles had 127 points (45 goals, 82 assists) and 94 penalty minutes in 132 career games with the University of Vermont from 2000-01 through 2003-04.

The Inferno return to the Carolina Coliseum on Friday, Feb. 29 to host the Gwinnett Gladiators at 7:05 p.m.
