Hrdel, Kvapil Recalled To Norfolk

BILOXI, MS - The Tampa Bay Lightning have reassigned forwards Zbynek Hrdel and Marek Kvapil to the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Hrdel, 22, is a 6-foot-1, 199-pound right wing from Pisek, Czech Republic. He has two goals and six penalty minutes in 16 games with Norfolk this season. In 66 career American Hockey League games between Norfolk and the Springfield Falcons, Hrdel has seven goals and 10 assists with 32 penalty minutes.

Hrdel had skated in two games with Mississippi since being reassigned from Norfolk on February 19, scoring one goal with two penalty minutes. On the season with the Sea Wolves, Hrdel has three goals and two assists with eight penalty minutes in 12 games. In 92 career ECHL games between Mississippi and the Johnstown Chiefs, the third-year pro has 22 goals and 30 assists with 85 penalty minutes.

Kvapil, 23, is a 5-foot-10, 188-pound right wing, from Ilava of the Slovak Republic. He has appeared in eight games with the Admirals this season with three assists and no penalty minutes. In 159 career AHL games, Kvapil has 12 goals and 23 assists with 11 penalty minutes.

Kvapil has played 13 games with Mississippi since being reassigned from Norfolk on January 27, scoring six goals and nine assists with two penalty minutes. On the season with the Sea Wolves, Kvapil has nine goals and 15 assists with nine penalty minutes in 25 games. In 32 career ECHL games between Mississippi and Johnstown, the third-year pro has 12 goals and 23 assists with 11 penalty minutes.
