Marlies kick off second season this evening

Toronto Marlies News Release

The Toronto Marlies, proud member of the American Hockey League, are set to return to Ricoh Coliseum ice as they take-on the Syracuse Crunch - AHL affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets - this evening at 7:30 p.m. Pre-game festivities begin one hour before face-off and include interactive events and games in Marlies' Alley.

The Marlies oppose a division opponent on the first of two occasions this weekend and in the first of three consecutive games to begin the season. The Manitoba Moose - AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks - are the opponent Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. while Grand Rapids is here one week from this evening.
