Bears announce roster for opening night

HERSHEY - The 2006 Calder Cup Champion HERSHEY BEARS announced today the club's 2006-07 opening night roster. The announcement was made today by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.
The following players are listed on HERSHEY'S opening night roster:
Goaltenders: Frederic Cassivi, Maxime Daigneault.
Defensemen: Trevor Byrne, Jamie Hunt, Tyler Sloan, Jeff Schultz, Lawrence Nycholat, Sasha Pokulok, Dean Arsene, Timo Helbling, Deryk Engelland.
Forwards: Petr Taticek, Joey Tenute, Eric Fehr, Alexandre Giroux, Tomas Fleischmann, Chris Bourque, Matt Hendricks, Dave Steckel, Chad Wiseman, Stephen Werner, Jonas Johansson, Louis Robitaille, Quintin Laing, Pete Vandermeer, Matt Stefanishion.
Following a season-opening four-game road trip that begins Saturday in Wilkes-Barre, HERSHEY will play its regular season home opener on Saturday, October 21 at 7:00 p.m. against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. Pre-game ceremonies that night will honor the 2006 Calder Cup Champions prior to face-off. Tickets are available at the GIANT Center box office or by calling (717) 508-BEAR.
