TOLEDO, OH - Your Toledo Mud Hens will open the 2019 season at Fifth Third Field on Thursday, April 4. It kicks off with a seven-day homestand against two West division rivals, beginning with a four-game series against Louisville, followed by a three-game series with Indianapolis.
Thirty-three of the 70 home games will be played on weekend dates (Friday-11, Saturday-11, Sunday-11). The team's last 15 games include meetings with all three International League West clubs. The Hens are slated to finish the season at Fifth Third Field with a four-game split against Louisville and Columbus.
The 18th season of Mud Hens baseball at Fifth Third Field will also be filled with memorable nights of fun. Hensville Live!, the FREE postgame concert series in Hensville Park returns for its third year. Muddy and Spike's Inflatable Theme Park will be open during Sunday games. Learning the game of baseball will continue at our four School Education Days and four Future Mud Hens baseball camps. And, it wouldn't be summer or Mud Hens baseball without the spectacular postgame fireworks shows.
All 17 Opening Day games at Fifth Third Field have been standing room only sell-out crowds. Game Plans are on sale now for next season, and it's not too early to begin planning your group outings.
