
Mark Bomersback Headed To All-Star Game

BOISE, Idaho - The ECHL office announced today that Idaho Steelheads forward Mark Bomersback will replace Steve Gainey at next week's All-Star Game in Reading, PA. Gainey has been on loan to the American Hockey League's Hamilton Bulldogs since Jan. 5. Bomersback will join Steelheads defenseman Matt Stephenson on the National Conference roster.
Bomersback joined the Steelheads on Nov. 18, 2008 after being reassigned by the AHL's Providence Bruins, and has scored 7 goals and 13 assists for 20 points in 19 games with Idaho. < The game will take place at Reading's Sovereign Center on Jan. 21, 2009 following the 12th Annual All-Star Skills Competition on Jan. 20, 2009. The Steelheads leave for Stockton tomorrow for games against the Thunder on Saturday @ 8:30 pm MST and Sunday @ 5:00 pm MST. Listen live with Steelheads broadcaster Doug Plagens on the call. Saturday's game can be heard on 1350 KTIK The Ticket and on the B2 Network, while Sunday's game can be heard/watched only on the B2 Networks - link provided through the Steelheads Web site - www.idahosteelheads.com.
