
Maple Leafs tie franchise record

The St. John's Maple Leafs tied its franchise record for wins in a season with 45 wins with a 5-4 shootout victory over the Edmonton Roadrunners. The previous mark was set in 1993-94.
The Maple Leafs face the Edmonton Roadrunners tomorrow night in the club's last regular season game in franchise history. The game is sold out, but will be broadcasted 7:35pm (NT) Radio NL (930AM), Rogers Television (Ch.9) and www.sjmapleleafs.ca.
Maple Leafs playoff tickets will be on sale starting Saturday morning and may be purchased by visiting or calling the Mile One Stadium box office (709) 576-7657, 1-800-361-4595 or online at www.admission.com. Box office hours are Monday thru Saturday, 9am â 5pm and Sunday 12noon - 5pm. The first playoff game is set for Wednesday, April 20 when the club faces the Manitoba Moose in Game 1 of the North Division Semi-Final.
