
Bears fall in Philly 4-1

The final Friday game of the season results in a 4-1 loss for the BEARS at the Spectrum in Philadelphia.
Jon Sim opened the scoring late in the first period for Philadelphia when he deflected a rebound past fallen BEARS goaltender Peter Budaj. The Phantoms outshot HERSHEY 10-8 and led 1-0 after one period. Ben Stafford and Freddy Meyer scored in the second period to take a 3-0 lead before HERSHEY'S Nicolas Corbeil scored a goal in his BEARS debut at the 16:48 mark of the second period to cut the lead to 3-1. Mark Murphy added a goal for the Phantoms in the third period to round out the scoring.
The BEARS travel to Binghamton to face the Senators at 7:05 p.m.
